Yes, yes I know, IKEA is great; flat packed, furniture for the masses, but sometimes, just sometimes we need to take a step back and appreciate and applaud hand crafted, limited edition furniture that is created by local designers. Step forward Anthony Hartley, furniture maker and designer from Yorkshire. Anyone who knows me and my work [...]
Not as grand as chandeliers or as ’modern’ as pendants, the humble lampshade is in my opinion, one of the enduring workhorses of the interior world. I love utilising lampshades in all sizes as they can make or break a room. The fabric can set the scene…from bold modern prints, one colour prints, sensous velvets, believe me, you can’t [...]

I’d like to share with you some of the wings I’ve been making for Spring…. The design of the wings are all totally unique but follow in the Zero to 10 interiors ethos of being bright, funky and fun. I find that everyone has their own personal style and by hook or crook you will [...]

My ‘wings’ designs continue apace! After making a few pairs of angel wings I am looking forward to creating some butterfly and fairy wings. They’re perfect for youngsters and are far more durable than the wire and ‘tights’ type you see on the market. On the plus side, they also make cushions for tired little heads!
